Burying my cat...

So I'm trying to bury Twinkie in the backyard. Parish regulations say it's gotta be at least 6ft. Yeah, that's not happening. Anyways, I just got done digging a hole...accounting for two pieces of wood to cover her...layering dirt/wood/dirt/wood/dirt. So, this was a bitch in this NOLA humidity and at this point...I was thinking I duf a 2ft hole but this is barely 1.5ft lol. It should still be deep enuff for my twinkie/dirt/wood/dirt/wood/dirt plan...but I'm not sure if I should try and go deeper (without killing myself in this heat) or just try it as is. No raccoons in the area but we do have possums, and now supposedly coyotes by the levee 2 blocks over. Any suggestions either way?
