if you have the same username in chat, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to do these things. If you're on mobile and the chat bar doesn't appear, turn your phone on it's side or refresh the page. As far as pm's - are you getting a notification that says you're unable to message the person?
I only have one username, Jewell. I just registered an account, for the first time, on November 8th, 2025. For the first three, or perhaps only two days, I was able to message the main room and/or respond to private chat messages. Then, on November 11th, I tried to respond to a private chat and was unable to do so. After trying to respond to about 8 different private chats--with no success--I started attempting to contact someone who could help. I even changed my "About Me" information to a request for assistance with this issue. I was never kicked, or booted, or blocked, and have never received any messages stating that I am unable to message anyone. I'm just unable to do so. I can type out the message, but it does not post when I hit send/enter. I have attempted to delete my account so that I can start over fresh. This is rather frustrating.
Are you using emojis when sending messages? If so, only use the ones provided by the site as emojis on your keyboard will prevent your message from being sent.
Well, I have not used any emojis. And, since I cannot send messages, I am not sending emojis with messages.
