Nice to meet you, where are you from I'm in Alberta Canada small community called Pine lake, Nice here, golfing and a lake as well. But pretty cold in the winter.

Hi Dreyton so nice to meet you here, and yes my name is Rindee! I live in Northern Texas, closer to Oklahoma, so we don't get as hot, you are thinking of Southern Texas, stretching down to the Rio Grande Valley, where it gets really hot! In winter, we have snow and ice storms all the time, and, we are also known as "Tornado Alley", and I have been hit by a goodly number of 'em ;(. Let's keep in touch yes!

Ohh wow, Yes I was thinking the south, Your more like us snow and we do get a few tornadoes but not too often, What do you do there are you retired. I am but keep active with pickle ball and make board games. I guess ill stick to Yuma for the winter lol. Will have to connect our games to be on at the same time. 😄

I retired in 2018 at age 56, with the plan of enjoying a nice long retirement! I am ultra busy! I still play music, I have a fully equipped home gym and I am in there 5 days a week. I also bike, walk, hike, swim, get plenty of fresh air and sun! I like to grill, and being single , of course I have to take care of everything. Including, home, land, 2 cars, 2 cats, the yard, omg! But I have been in this home since 1986, and plan to finish out life here. I do play chess and dominos, and if I have a dinner party or cookout, I make sure to have the chess board and dominos out in case anyone wants to challenge me lol! I have heard about pickle ball but I don't know how it is played. A friend of mine began playing and tore her knee to shreds omg! That's great you stay active too!

Well your more active than me, I retired 5 yrs ago and has slowed down a bit, I do golf and like swimming, I have a pontoon boat and living by the lake it's nice to take it out and cruise around, My grand kids love it. I'll be honest with you I am still married but it's complicated, We have it seems nothing in common any more other than TV or a movie, She doesn't golf, play pickle ball like taking the boat out or socialize, so it tends to get lonely as I'm a talk to anyone type and still have fun in me. Hope this doesn't spoil things. Sounds like you have a great life style now, I'm jealous lol.

No it doesn't spoil anything. It's communication, discovering about our lives, fun and fascinating! I know so many who have been through or are going through what you are. Years of marriage can develop into something less than it was, not necessarily bad, but much different. The intimacy is gone, and it becomes more of a friendship or aquaintance. Now, never being married, I am no expert on the subject, but have sat and listened many stories from friends. It's good you continue to do things you enjoy, it's all you can do. I am much like you as far as reaching out to communicate with others online, in chats, email, etc. It's fun, exciting, and many I have met online, ever since I first came online in the early 90's, have developed into friendships that will last a lifetime! For me, the closest I came to being married was only a few years ago, with a bodybuilder, he gave me a promise ring, but it didn't work out, as always.
