Does algebra actually have good use in the real world or is it just wasting my time as a freshman, cause Its easy but not at the same time and rattles my brain to no end making me go crazy.

It depends. I always just saw doing algebra and similar subjects as helping my brain figure out problem solving. You may never, ever use algebra again after you graduate, but it’s helpful to know that you put time and effort into doing something slightly difficult.

Life is a long time, it’s hard to imagine where you’ll be in 5, 10, 20 years from now - one thing I will say though, you can always reflect on what you DID do in your youth. Useful or not, school in general is a place where you learn to solve problems.

it makes me wanna rip my hair out when I don't understand or I get something wrong thinking I understood tbh

Hi, newbie here. It comes in useful, but not always in obvious ways. Like, nobody's gonna come up to you and ask you to spit out the Pythagorean Theorem....lol. But it is good to have a grasp of it for life.

Only things I've had to use in life, is basic math, civics, geography, history (dont always rely on what you're taught in history), and obviously English. Now my algebra teacher told me and my class, you most likely never use algebra after school, but they have to teach it
