Toxic Chat Community

I'm new here and just created an account. I introduced myself in the adult chat by simply saying, "Hi, I’m new here," and was immediately accused of being a scammer. Shortly after, someone doxxed me by posting my full name in the chat.
Is this really the kind of community this is supposed to be? What kind of toxic chat room are you guys running?

Hi, welcome.
You weren't doxxed, a chatter reversed search your image and your picture came with with several sites you are on/have been too with the name attached. I don't agree with any
full names being posted, if its yours or not - I will look into this and follow it up.
We do always remind chatters about using their pictures on online, once a photo is sent or posted online (even as a pfp) it's hard to control where it goes or who sees it.
Again, I will follow this up.

Doxxing refers to the act of searching for and publicly sharing someone’s personal or identifying information with malicious intent. While I can’t speak to the intent behind it, a random person posting my full name in a public chatroom simply because I said, “Hi, I’m new,” doesn’t exactly seem harmless.
If you're saying, “You weren’t doxxed,” then I have to ask—how do you define doxxing?

There was no malice intent, most likely.
It should never have happened but it’s what many chatters do online to try and protect themselves and their friends. They can’t always get it right. Personally, I don’t think they should do it at all.

But with the results they got, it sounds like they wanted to get it out there.

Last comment seems pretty Uneccesary. What exactly are you implying with that statement?

Two mods replying with very condescending “matter of fact” tones. Attempting to justify the behaviors.

I can see why this place has a lot of overturn and ex chatters if this is how the staff behaves over a simple doxing complaint.

I’m saying that if I was to reverse search an image of someone and it came back as someone that does what they do, then I’d share it with other chatters.

Could you please clarify how searching for and publicly posting someone’s legal name in a chat room serves to protect others or their friends? With respect, it seems that you're using a hypothetical motive of "protection" to downplay the seriousness and potential harm of doxxing.

How exactly does sending my full legal name help safeguard the community? Is this done to every new chatter that comes? The phrase "They can’t always get it right" suggests a tolerance for personal information being shared. That raises the question: if this instance was the wrong time to post someone’s full name, what instance would be the right time?

You’ve gone from “Personally, I don’t think it should happen at all,” to “I’d share it with other chatters.

A quick reverse image search automatically displays your full name and other sites you've been on. While we do not encourage or allow doxxing for malicious purposes or at all. I understand that some chatters will post screen shots of their reverse image searches on some of the new chatters to "expose" scammers, fraud, catfishes etc..

Chat communities are already very small, a lot of the regulars in adult have been coming here for years and some do feel very protective over it. This is why staff stresses being mindful of the images and information you choose to put on the internet.

The matter has been sorted, I'm not sure what else you would like to come of this?

I’ve told many people use images that aren’t on their socials so they cannot be traced back to profiles with personal information.

Yes, if I was a chatter and thought someone had malice intent, I would share it.
Yes, I also don’t think people should post what they’re reverse searching - and I don’t think they should reverse search the images either.

I don’t care how you feel about the way I think of it.
