Just think of the admin (administrator) as the person who’s in-charge of keeping the site running and is also essentially the mod team’s boss.
We have several wonderful admins who are the head/owner of different rooms. For example Azura is the teen admin so she's the "boss" of the teen room. Usually admins are the ones who choose the staff and can promote some of the users to room mod and site mod. Their actions are of higher level than mods and room staff and they have the ability to override a mod's action or decision. The admins oversee a group of mods for one room or a few smaller rooms.
Mods can do the same things as an admin essentially like kick, ban, room block, etc. However, in terms of rank, they are lower ranked than admins. They are usually assigned to one room like how I'm assigned to adult as an adult mod. However, you may see a mod in another room if they are called upon or handling a report. We do our best to keep the site safe and to make it a fun place for all!
